A detailed receipt for your assessment will be provided for you at the conclusion of services.
A psychological assessment is a type of evaluation that is conducted to assess an individual’s cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning. The purpose of a psychological assessment is to gain a better understanding of an individual’s strengths and weaknesses, as well as to identify any psychological or emotional difficulties that may be impacting their functioning. Psychological assessments are typically conducted by trained mental health professionals, such as psychologists or psychiatrists.
There are many different types of psychological assessments, and the specific purpose of an assessment may vary depending on the specific goals of the evaluation. In some cases, a psychological assessment may be used to diagnose a mental health disorder, such as depression or anxiety. In other cases, an assessment may be used to identify an individual’s strengths and areas of giftedness, or to evaluate the effectiveness of a particular treatment. Psychological assessments may include a variety of different components, such as cognitive testing, personality testing, and behavioral observations. The results of the assessment are used to inform treatment planning and to develop recommendations for addressing any identified difficulties or concerns.
